CMO (Chief Marketing Officer)

We’re seeking an experienced CMO to lead Lua’s global expansion.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join Lua.

As our CMO, you will lead all marketing initiatives, develop innovative strategies to increase user acquisition and engagement, and drive brand awareness.

We are searching for an experienced and self-driven person to join us. Someone who lives the "personal development path", as well as the business, marketing & digital world. With a growth attitude, you will be responsible for leading, developing and implementing all growth, marketing & sales strategies. You will have the resources to develop a team, internally and externally, to help you execute on the strategy you develop.

You will be working alongside the CEO and CTO (who are both the founders) and will be joining an existing team of 4 in the marketing department.

This is a full-time position.

Location: Fully remote.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Be the face of Lua and represent Lua's purpose and values.

  • Represent the voice of the customer within the organization, bringing your insights to cross-functional stakeholders across product, design, user experience, and executive leadership.

  • Continually evolve our brand & market positioning:

  • Bringing to life what resonates & motivates our target audience.

  • Promote the company as an innovator of depth & intimacy to the public and press.

  • Oversee all outbound customer-facing communications including our website, blog, social media channels, partnership brochures, online/offline events, and others…

  • Continually evolve our understanding of our community leader partners and end-users. (You will work closely with the customer experience team to conduct customer research.)

  • Report all findings and results to the leadership team and company to motivate better decision-making.

  • You will also lead and mentor a growing team of marketers across a broad set of functions, which currently include: partner marketing, partner sales, content, and a marketing intern.

  • Create and execute all go-to-market & partnership strategies:

  • Set clear objectives and goals, research and clarify the target audiences, develop marketing and communication strategies, and measure adoption.

  • You will drive adoption & app downloads through

  • direct marketing - digital media as well as online/offline events.

  • community-leader partnership building - aligning on mutual goals, co-marketing efforts through digital media, online/offline events, as well as a B2B sales approach.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase user acquisition and engagement

  • Create and execute campaigns to drive brand awareness and engagement

  • Manage advertising and promotional activities

  • Utilize data analytics to track user trends and develop strategies to meet objectives

  • Monitor and adjust marketing activities to ensure maximum ROI

  • Coordinate with product, engineering, and development teams to develop new product features

  • Develop and implement an effective content marketing strategy

  • Create and prioritize product roadmap and feature releases

  • Manage and optimize budget allocation

  • Analyze and report on marketing results

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of marketing professionals

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Hebrew (optional).

  • Live the personal/spiritual self-development path & understand conscious & mindful communities.

  • You are a self-starter, organized and self-motivated with the ability to define goals and prioritize your, and your team's work.

  • Demonstrated experience leading marketing teams and strategies in a SaaS or other digital product domain.

  • Demonstrable experience developing and executing go-to-market plans and funnel creation: including content marketing, online and offline events, as well as paid advertising - (public relations is an advantage)

  • Experience with PLG (Product-led-growth) & growth-hacking concepts.

  • Strong analytical and writing skills. You are comfortable with data and analytics, and you can clearly communicate your results and ideas.

  • Perform under pressure and with tight deadlines; can effectively prioritize and plan

  • Must be able to adapt to changes and work in a fast-paced, demanding startup environment

  • Must have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize workload for efficiency

  • Proven experience developing and executing marketing strategies

  • Experience managing and optimizing budget allocation

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

  • • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and social media marketing strategies

  • Up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices
